Knitting Ministry

First Thursday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Quiet Room.

On the first Thursday of every month, the Knitting Ministry of First Church gathers together in a circle for a time of sacred knitting. Together we have knit and prayed into hundreds of shawls that are given to people who are sick, grieving or in need of healing. The knitting is simple so knitters of all levels come together. The stories of the ministry, both from the knitters and those who have received a shawl, are continual witness to the transforming power of God's love and compassion. All are welcome.
