Nursery School

First Church Nursery School is a full-service nursery school and child care center founded in 1942. We provide a developmental program emphasizing learning through play and social interaction. Working in partnership with parents, our teachers strive to foster a positive self-image, creative thinking, and a love of learning within each child.

FCNS is a state licensed, non profit program and ministry of the First Church of Christ Congregational. While it is open to all children regardless of race, color or creed, priority in placement is given to members of the congregation. We are non-sectarian and do not teach religious doctrine. The Board, made up of parents and church members, has general oversight of the school.

Our preschool program choices include: morning classes for, three and four year old children; and full-time/part-time child care for infants, toddlers, two, three, and four year old children. We also offer some Summer Program options. Our professional teaching staff provides a variety of activities to stimulate the senses and encourage participation.
