"A Doorway Into the Spirit"
The Spiritual Life Ministry provides a variety of spiritual growth opportunities for members of First Church and the wider community. Created in 1995, the ministry has grown over the years and now offers spiritual direction, lectio divina, labyrinth walks, Taize services, the Knitting Ministry, the Intercessory Prayer Circle, spiritual formation classes and other events to nurture, enrich and encourage individuals to grow in their relationship with God. By listening to the stories of our lives and placing them in the context of God's love we are invited to explore and celebrate the variety of ways God's presence encourages us to pray, worship and serve others.
