The Summer Soul-stice Celebration will be held this year on June 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Jim Boratko, Geordie Campbell and Susan Izard will be leading a Service of Music and Word in the Meeting House with the choir. This year's celebration will have a Celtic theme, with readings and music that express the presence and influence of God in our world at this time. The noted Irish fiddler fom Donegal, Ireland, P. V. O' Donnell, will be the featured guest artist for the event. | ||

Listeners are encouraged to gather on the south side of the lawn of the church, the lawn of the public library next door, or the Town Green for performances by carilloneurs from around the world. For summer fun in an informal setting, bring family,friends and food (along with chairs or blanket) to picnic during the concert. Tours of the carillon may be ofered after the concert. Fellowship Hour will be hosted by the library in the John P. Webster Gallery to celebrate the opening of a new exhibit of photographs by Susan Izard. The framed photographs represent scenes of nature and will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the church's "Kitchen Dreams Fund".
