Get to know the wonder, depth, and power of the book of Psalms. Geordie Campbell will lead five evenings of study with a focus on this central and important portion of the Hebrew Scriptures. Sign-up is necessary, and the cost of the workbook is $18. We will meet on Mondays (October 6th and 20th, and November 3rd, 10th and 17th). Sessions will be held in the Friendship and Fellowship Rooms.

This year's parade is tied in with the 250th Birthday Festival for Noah Webster so you are invited to dress yourself and your pet in period clothing! Register at Town Hall at 11:00 am and the parade will start around 11:15 on South Main Street and end on the lawn of First Church. Prizes are awarded to the cutest, biggest and best costume, among others.

"How You Should Vote!

The library will be hosting fellowship hour during an open house celebration immediately following the 10 am worship service on Sunday, October 26. Also at that time, a new exhibit of abstract metallic sculptures by local artist, Victoria Jutras Kniering, will be unveiled in the John P. Webster Gallery. All are welcome to attend the worship service and then visit the library for a piece of birthday cake, view the art exhibit and join in the birthday celebration.

Jim will be presenting a recital on the four manual Austin organ in the Meeting House. The recital will feature works by Bach, Vierne, Franck, and an improvisation on a hymn selected by the audience. The Whitechapel Handbell Choir under the direction of Sara Enger will also be featured in a piece for handbells and organ. There will be a free will offering to benefit the Music and Fine Arts Fund, and refreshments will be served following the recital.
