Visit the Trees
Come by to view numerous trees on display from local businesses, organizations, and individuals who have donated decorated trees. Go raffling among the trees and other prizes. All proceeds from the event will help support community outreach programs, including but not limited to Gifts of Love, Interval House, Habitat for Humanity, Loaves and Fishes and Food Share, Covenant to Care for Children, Freshplace, My Sister’s Place South Park Inn and The Bridge.
Trees will be on display during the Holiday Stroll on Thursday, November 29; and again on Sunday, December 2, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm. Raffle tickets will be available for $10 for a sheet of 10 tickets or $20 for 25. Tickets are placed in containers next to each tree. Raffle sales close Sunday, December 2, at 12:00 pm. The last tickets must be deposited by 12:15 pm. The drawing will occur at 12:30 pm. All winners are notified by phone. You must answer the call between 12:30 and 2:00 pm to claim your prize. We will attempt to call three (3) times before a next winner is drawn. Please note that caller ID and a missed call are not notification of a win.
Create and Donate a Tree
Support the event by donating a tree. You can decorate a tree to reflect your interest, business, or holiday theme. You can incorporate your products or services into your theme, taking advantage of the opportunity to enhance your organization or cause’s visibility on this night to many West Hartford residents when three to five thousand community members come out to enjoy West Hartford’s Holiday Stroll through Blue Back Square and West Hartford Center.
