TAIZE Worship Service

Second Sunday of the month from 6:30-7:30pm
TAIZE Worship Service in the Chapel from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The last date for spring 2010 is April 11 and the fall schedule will be forthcoming. Taize Worship is an ecumenical, contemporary, contemplative worship service with song, silence, scripture and prayer. The Taize Community was formed at the end of World War II in Taize, France. The purpose of this community was to promote peace and justice through common worship. The influence of the Taize Community has now spread all over the world. This service is co-sponsored by the Spiritual Life Ministry of First Church and the Spiritual Life Center in Bloomfield, CT. All are welcome. For more information call 860-233-9605.
