To Heifer Project’s Overlook Farm

In Rutland, MA (about 1 1/2 hours away)

“HARVEST FEST”
October 1, 2011
11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

A hay maze, hayrides, and other children’s activities will be available. You can watch a goat milking and come face to face with goats, sheep, cows, water buffalo, a yak, llamas and even a camel.

Also, explore the homes in the 8 Heifer Global Villages to learn about traditional harvest celebrations in Peru, Poland, Kenya, and more.

Purchase a home-cooked lunch prepared from their farm products or bring your own picnic. The event will continue in the event of light rain. 

 Admission: Children twelve and under are admitted free; all other attendees are $5.00 per person. 

 Car pools can be arranged and the church van may be available.
