JUBILO! A jubilee of carols & motets from around the world

CitySingers of Hartford will present Jubilo!, an international celebration of music and the message of peace. On Saturday, December 17, 2011, audiences will be enlivened by traditional motets and carols inspired by folksongs from around the world, accompanied by organ, harp, woodwinds, cello, festive bells and percussion. The program includes familiar carols for audience participation and excerpts from J. S. Bach’s Cantata No. 63, written for Christmas Day.
