Faith formation is an ongoing part of the journey of a believer so here at First Church, we offer a variety of programs throughout the year to engage all learners.
In addition to the current offerings listed below, the community plans intergenerational mission trips and occasional pilgrimages to places of religious significance. Previous trips have included trips to the Celtic island of Iona in Scotland and to the Holy Land.
Take a break from the stress of life and connect with your body, mind, and spirit. Through yoga postures, breathing, and meditation techniques, quiet your mind and learn to hear the quiet voice of the spirit, while strengthening your body. There are 7-week series throughout the year with class offerings on Tuesdays 7-8:15 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:15-10:30 am. This Kripalu yoga class is taught by Nancy Murray, RYT, and is appropriate for students of all levels, including beginners. For more information contact the church office.
